Kajinaga Daishi, born the fifth of February, 1976, was until recently the energetic frontsinger of the Japanese band Psycho le Cemu, taking the role of the "hero" on stage. During the summer of 2006, he was arrested and convicted of possession of amphetamines. After the arrest, the band returned to indies status, and then stalled, eventually changing their status to an indefinite hiatus.
Daishi kept out of the spotlight for a while, but fortunately has begun to resurface in the Japanese music scene. These days he's been doing some solo work, and his first album, GOD JAPANESE MONSTER, will be released early 2007.
Hopefully, Daishi will continue his music career for quite some time. Despite making some serious mistakes, he is a wondeful vocalist whose presence would be sorely missed by many fans on both sides of the world.
